The 122nd felicitation program for lifetime voluntary blood donors was organized by Quantum Foundation on 27th March 2016, where the honorable chief guest was Prof. Md. Hamidul Haque- the Director General of National Academy for Education Management (NAEM).

When talking about the blood donors, in his speech, he said, ‘We all know that the beating of heart, the movement of body, hormone transmission- everything is done through blood. Blood is the sole medium for the communication within the cells in our body. And this act of selflessness, of donating our blood, or any part of our body, can never measured in price.

Everyone of you, who managed to save others’ lives through blood donation, who kept others’ heart beating; I would like to bade them my utmost respect and salaam. No one can actually explain the value of the single unit of blood that you donated, other than the person whom it saved, who got his life back from the grasp of death can only tell how precious your blood is!

If we have to perform such great work then we must awaken the humanity within ourselves and our consciousness. And the great possibilities and success that can be achieved through this, has been proved by Quantum Foundation all these years, through its various activities within Bangladesh. I really express my utmost regards and respect to all those who are conducting such activities.’
He added, ‘Quantum Foundation is undoubtedly causing a revolutionary change within the minds of the people and the society, as a whole. As we all are witnessing that all the famous personalities including doctors, educators as well as litterateurs are recommending and advocating for the Quantum Method and/or the activities performed by the organization. Quantum Method enlightens a person’s life, along with the life of the society and the nation, as well. The day isn’t far away when this course would be recognized by the whole world.

If we manage to awaken this youth of the country, which are you people- then all of you’d become idols for the society, for each donation made. If you manage to convey the great and selfless message in your heart, to everyone- then the people who are fighting each and every moment of their lives to survive the death and/or severe diseases, for the requirement of blood- wouldn’t have much to worry about. This donation of yours would give them the hope. May everyone be motivated and encouraged through your donation.

Quantum Voluntary Blood Donation Program awarded by Ministry of Health and World Health Organization

Celebrating World Blood Donor’s Day (14 th June) on July 23, 2019, the notable voluntary blood donation organizations were awarded. Ministry of Health of Government of Bangladesh and World Health Organization arranged this program in Dr. Milon Auditorium of Dhaka Medical College . On behalf of Quantum Voluntary Blood Donation Program , Director Coordination of Quantum Foundation Mrs. Suraiya Rahman received the honorarium crest. Other than Quantum, ten organizations including Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, BADHON, SHANDHANI and Police Blood Bank were awarded. Besides, ten blood donors who have donated the highest number of blood from these institutions were awarded crest and certificates as well. Blood camp at Bangladesh Development Bank Limited on Victory Day

On December 17, 2019 a day-long blood camp was organized by Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) at the seminar hall of its head office on the eve of Victory Day. The bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Kazi Alamgir inaugurated the event. Twenty-one officials of the institution donated blood in the camp. It is to be noted that, thirty bags of blood were collected from the blood camp organized in the same venue with overall cooperation by Quantum Voluntary Blood Donation Program on 6 th November last year.
